Tired now, she bowed her head and to St. Joseph she said, "Come, there is the
Temple.. . let us see where our Son can be."
The days spent so wearily had now
Lengthened on to three.

They kept looking, this Holy Pair, And in the Temple found Him there.
"We did not know," said His Mother, "Why and when You left. . . and for three
days we were bereft."

He quietly spoke of His Fathers Will.
To His Mother and Guardian He wished no ill.

Mary pondered His words though not knowing
What they meant.
Then taking His hand back to Nazareth They went.
